Foundation requirements

The foundation of the timber house should be built before the assembly starts. It's carried out by the client. The cost is determined by the house's area and the terrain's specifics. Usually the foundation is a thin concrete slab with foundation walls under the walls and has hydro insulation. The foundation walls are part under (at least 80 cm) and part over the ground (about 50 cm).

Depending on the home plan and terrain's slope you can have a basement as well. It's also possible to assemble the new house as a second floor of an existing building.
