Different models staircases can be used in timber prefab homes' interior.
Depending on its shape and construction the interior staircase can be spiral or straight, sloping or rounded, narrow or wide, steep or flowing and so on. The main materials used for staircases' construction are timber, metal (like steel, aluminum), concrete and stone - separate or combined. Decoration elements can be added as well - ceramics, glass or other materials. The steps' surface is up to each client's requirements - it can be smooth or rough, shaped with different materials.
- Straight staircase - a classic option, it's easy to make and takes up a lot of floor area. The more wider and with smaller step height is the staircase, the more comfortable and easy to climb it is.
- Spiral staircase - it's one of the most used types of staircases, it covers the least space and appears as a nice vertical element in the room.
- "L" or "Ï"-shaped staircase - series of steps and landings alternate with each other, the turn is on 90 and 180 degrees.
- Rounded staircase - this one has a specific construction, it's made on the site according to the building's characteristics.
